We collaborated with Mind HK on two flagship mental-health events—the Hong Kong Mental Health Conference and the Hong Kong Youth Summit. Producing for two distinct brands in a hybrid format, we built parallel pipelines for stage creative and livestream packages, effectively multiplying deliverables while maintaining a cohesive visual system. Producer Thomas Boarder led creative and production oversight, coordinating with partners A-Bean, Digital Dog Studios, and Blink Media to deliver key assets and ensure seamless execution across both events.

Youth Summit – Wide LED Opening Video

Each event had distinct branding, aimed at appealing to the target demographic. The Youth Summit had a more fun, rounded and abstract ‘pop’ tone, while the Mental Health Conference was more angular and clean. We reflected this in the event openers in all aspects. The flow and dynamism of the shapes, speed, and choice of graphics vs imagery.

As this was a hybrid event, we had to carefully consider how the layout and design would translate between a large LED wide screen wall, to a traditional 16×9 online stream.

Mental Health Conference – 16×9 Crop Opening Video

Both videos took a slightly different approach to adapt to this challenge. As the Youth Summit was more fun and abstract and relied on dynamic shapes and text, we opted to create a centre focused zone of key message and visuals, while extending the graphics beyond the 16×9 boundary to span the wide LED screen. This allowed for a simple crop solution when delivering for online streaming. As the Mental Health conference would be built primarily from footage, we instead segmented the screen, creating a framed layout. The Centre segment translated directly to 16×9, while the sides would be visible on the wide screen for additional visual context.
